The annual awards celebrate the best in luxury travel, with the world’s best five-star hotels and resorts, determined by the publication’s Australian readership base. Deemed the most successful yet, the 15th Annual Gold List awards comprised more than 60,000 votes by 7,000 dedicated and passionate readers.
The result has been welcomed by Lang Walker, whose vision for Kokomo Private Island is to be recognised as the best private island in the world. At last month’s launch of Kokomo’s new Aviation Hangar, Lang divulged “the immediate plan is in four years’ time, to be the best owned resort in the world… for quality, food, service, activities and staff”.
From the appointment of new Executive Chef, Cory Campbell, to the launch of a state-of-the-art Aviation Hangar and Lounge, Kokomo Private Island are committed to further improving the guest experience for new and returning guests in 2019.
